PRİMEL 606® BETOKONTAKAdherence Enhancing Synthetic gross concrete undercoat applied before, Gypsum and Cement Based Plaster applications.

APPLICATION FIELD

A filled, resin-based concrete primer with special polymer additives, used to increase surface adhesion before the application of gypsum- and cement-based plasters on exposed concrete walls and ceilings.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·       The special resin in its formulation increases the adhesion strength of the plaster to be applied.

·       It prevents rapid water loss from the plaster, thereby extending the plaster's working time.

·       It facilitates plaster application, saving time and labour.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

The surface must be dry, sound, clean and free from oil.

Mixture Preparation and Application

For use beneath plaster, dilute at a ratio of 1:3:

• 4 kg Water / 12 kg PRIMEL 606 must be diluted with water before use. The specified amount of water is the maximum value; if desired, the product may also be used at a thicker consistency. Mix PRIMEL 606 with the specified amount of water until homogeneous. During application, stir the diluted primer from time to time. Apply PRIMEL 606 to the surface using a roller or brush.

Apply the plaster once the material can no longer be scratched off the surface with a fingernail.

  • Available in 12 kg bucket.

STORING

·       Store in enclosed areas away from direct sunlight.

·       The shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored unopened in its original packaging in a dry, frost-free environment.
