Tips
- To increase the adherence: In Gypsum based Plasters, use "Primel 600" for the gross concrete surfaces in the internal spaces.
- To minimize the scratches: Use nets on the concrete-wall connections.
- To provide homogeneity: In Cement based plasters, don’t make extra trifle on the final surface. After trifle, apply sponge trifle procedure.
- In the plasters applied manually, strictly comply with the water proportions.
- Homogenous mixture: In machine applied plasters, keep the water proportion constant.
- In the plasters, don’t make applications under +5 C and over + 35 C.
- To increase the adherence capability of the material: In the plasters, apply maximum 2.5 cm thickness in a single layer.
- To increase the adherence: In Gypsum based plasters, apply maximum 2.5 cm, if more is required, apply the 2nd coat before the 1st coat settles.
- To increase the adherence: In Cement based plasters, apply maximum 2.5 cm in a single layer, if more is required, apply the second coat the next day.
- Don’t add additives such as sand, cement, gypsum plaster etc. to the plasters.
- To prevent scratches: In Cement based plasters, don’t apply early smoothing.
- To increase the adherence: In plasters, clean and moisten the surface before application.
- To prevent scratches and increase resistance: In the plasters, apply curing after plaster in compliance with the seasonal conditions.
- To provide homogeneity: “Mix Eltek SD” with an electrical hand mixer.
- To prevent scratches early water loss: On facades exposed to excess wind, protect the plaster against rapid drying.
- In cement based plasters, apply paint application 28 days after, according to the seasonal conditions.
- In gypsum plaster based plasters, apply paint application 10 days after, according to the seasonal conditions.
- In cement based plasters, place maximum 8 bags on top of each other in order to prevent squeezing.
- The net life of Cement based plaster in a non-humid environment is 6 months. Don’t forget that the material would petrify otherwise.
- On the facades that face north, and receive excess rain, use water resistant plaster.
- To increase the adherence: On gross concrete surfaces, mix “Primel Powder” and “Primel 200” at appropriate proportions (1/3) and use this before the Cement based plaster applications on the internal and external facades.
- On Gas-Concrete surfaces make direct application in gypsum plaster-based plasters without using “Primel”.
- On Gas-Concrete surfaces, apply powder “Primel” before applying cement-based plasters. Start application by curing after 72 hours.
- In order to prevent color tone changes: In “Colormatik” applications, keep the application thickness and machine water level constant.
- In Gypsum based plasters, pre-application of “Alçımatik” should be min 8 mm; and “Satenmatik” application should be min 3 mm max 8 mm.
- To prevent squeezing: In Gypsum based plasters place maximum 8 bags on top of each other.
- In Gypsum based plasters, don’t forget that the shelf life is max 3 months.
- In Gypsum based plasters, don’t forget to clean the reinforcing bars in the columns, beams and the ceiling with anti-rust paint.
- Use “Sapser Rapid” in rapid ground applications.
- To provide resistance against water, frost: Use “Doltek” and “Dolfin” in place of “Dolel” on the external facades.
- To increase the adherence: In special products, clean and moisten the application surface before the application.
- To provide homogeneity: Prefer mixing the special products by electrical hand mixer.
- Strictly don’t add additives such as lime, sand, cement etc. in the mortar prepared.
- Make sure that the application temperature is between +5 C to +35 C interval.
- To prevent scratches and increase resistance: Apply curing after the application in compliance with the seasonal conditions.
- To save time: Use “Rapidfix” that sets quickly in rapid applied repair mortars.
- Don’t apply special products on Gypsum based plaster.
- Try to apply the water proportion specified in the technical specifications of the special products.
- Read the technical catalogue well for the special products. Don’t use the wrong product in a wrong place.
- To provide homogeneity: First put the water in the mixing container and mix it by the electrical mixer.
- Don’t add additives such as lime, sand, cement etc. in the mortar.
- Make sure that the application temperature is between +5 C to +35 C interval.
- Read the technical catalogue well for the adhesives. Use the correct adhesive in the correct place.
- Use Flex products on the floors that are heated from below.
- Don’t apply ceramic adhesive on settled surfaces.
- Wait 24 hours for jointing applications.
- Use Karofix Rapid in order to save time in rapid ceramic covering applications.
- In ceramic on top of ceramic applications, it is required to be sure of the soundness of the old ceramic covered surface. After making a soundness check, Entegre Karofix Super provides a perfect performance with double-side application.
- To increase the adherence: Clean and moisten the surface before the application.
- Use Camserfix in glass bricks and jointing.
- Use Mozafix in mosaic applications and jointing. Perform the jointing after 24 hours.
- Make sure that appropriate joint gaps are provided before jointing, provide that joint mortar penetrates in between the ceramics in the most convenient way.
- If the joint gaps are full, clean them with a brush before the application.
- Use Flex joint filling in places which require high performance.
- In wet spaces, for 100% water insulation before ceramic applications, apply Entegre Sutop Double flexible water insulation product two coats as horizontal and vertical layers.
- Make sure that you apply joint filling mortar in compliance with the water proportion specified in the technical documentation.
